Post Graduate Diploma In International Business (PGDIB)


Objectives


The objective of the P. G. Diploma in International Business is to meet requirements of trained manpower in the vast field of foreign trade and international business. Through this course the students will be exposed to formal training to acquire knowledge and to develop skills required to undertake foreign trade activities as well to take up employment in International Business Organizations

Standards And Grade of Passing:

• The standard of passing the Diploma in Taxation- 50% marks in each paper. The candidate obtaining marks between:
a) 50% to 54% - II Class
b) 55% to 59% - Higher II Class.
c) 60% to 69% - I Class
d) 70% and above - I Class with Distinction.

• Export Procedure & Documentation
• Economic System & Foreign Trade
• Commercial Laws & Overseas Marketing Research
• Field Visit Report & Viva-Voice

Any Graduate (with 50% aggregate marks) from any recognized Indian/Foreign University shall be eligible for admission to the Course.

Admission to be given on first-come, first-served basis.

• The examination will be held at the end of every academic year as per the dates declared by the University.
• It will carry 600 marks in aggregate.
• Papers I to V will carry 100 marks each.
• Paper VI, project report will carry 100 marks, out of 100 marks- 75 marks for the project and 25 marks for viva-voice. Viva-Voice will be conducted by the respective college.
