Faculty Induction Programme
The National Service Scheme (NSS) of ASM’S CSIT successfully organized International Yoda Day for all teaching faculty & Non-teaching staff & students. The event aimed to promote wisdom, mindfulness, and the spirit of service among students and faculty. Yoda Day provided an opportunity to engage the university community in activities that highlight the values of wisdom, leadership, and mindfulness.
Ranjai Event
To imbibe the importance of tree plantation the activity of tree plantation was conducted along with NSS Department at the premises of ASMCSIT College Pimpri .As per Guide lines of SPPU on occasion of “Vrukshotsav Pandrawada” from 10th June 2024 to 24th June 2024, ASM CSIT NSS students All faculties and Admin Department of ASM CSIT has organized a plantation on 21st June 2024.

On 22nd July 2024, ASM CSIT College celebrated Gurupornima with great enthusiasm and reverence in the main auditorium. The event, which started at 11:00 AM and concluded at 12:00 PM.
Anti Ragging
On 28th August 2024, ASM CSIT College celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was organized at the college ground, starting at 10:00 AM, and saw active participation from students across various sports categories. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship among the students.
Her Wellness
As part of our commitment to fostering a healthy and safe learning environment, ASM CSIT College is launching a Comprehensive Health Check-up Program for all students. This initiative aims to prioritize the physical well-being of our student body, ensuring that any underlying health concerns are identified early and addressed promptly
Teacher’s Day Celebration
The Ganpati Festival at ASM CSIT College, Pimpri, held from 7th September 2024 to 13th September 2024, was a vibrant celebration of culture and spirituality. YIN Kala Mohotsav
Dasara, one of the most significant festivals in India, symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across the country. In keeping with this tradition, ASM CSIT College organized a Dasara Calibration (Khande Navami) event on the 11th of October, 2024, at the college library. This event was designed to celebrate the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival, while also providing a platform for the students and staff to
engage in the festive spirit.
Title of DFL Dance Competition
On the occasion of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary, a solemn and respectful event was organized at CSIT Library in ASM CSIT College to honor the life and contributions of the former President of India, renowned scientist, and beloved teacher, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Known for his vision of a developed India, Dr. Kalam’s life continues to inspire millions. The day was celebrated as Vachan Prerna Day (Reading Inspiration Day), with an emphasis on promoting the habit of reading and knowledge, as Dr. Kalam was a staunch advocate of learning and self-improvement.
Diwali Festival
The Fresher’s Party for the academic year 2024 was organized to welcome the new batch of students into the ASM’s CSIT family. The event aimed to foster camaraderie, showcase talent, and provide a platform for students to express their creativity. It was a day of celebration, filled with various cultural performances, competitions, and moments of joy.
ELECTION ORGANISED BY YIN SAKAL
ASM-CSIT College Pimpri successfully conducted a Women’s Financial Empowerment Program aimed at educating both students and faculty members about financial literacy and investment strategies. The program was organized in collaboration with SEBI’s investor certification examination and was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Ahilya Patil.
Zero Wastage Management (Plastic Ban)
College organise the Annual Sports for students on 20st Feb to 24th Feb 2024 . Event Inaugerated by Principal Dr. Lalit Kanore . All students report at 9:00 am on the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krida sankool .Sant Tukaram Nagar . All teams are participated sportively & cooperatively .
Goonj Event 2025
The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor by the ASM Group of Institutes. This joint event brought together faculty, staff, and students from IBMR, IPS, GJC, CSIT, and Empros, highlighting the unity and shared values of the ASM family. The celebration aimed to honor the adoption of the Constitution of India and instill in participants the spirit of patriotism, civic responsibility, and cultural pride.
NO-Vehicle Day
ASM CSIT College, Pimpri, Pune organized a special event on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2025 at the Main Auditorium of the college. The event aimed to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of women in various fields and to raise awareness on important women-centric issues
Holi Celebration
The farewell party was a well-organized event celebrating the accomplishments and memorable journey of the students from the Department of Management and Commerce. The atmosphere was festive, welcoming, and reflective as students, faculty, and special guests gathered to honour the milestones achieved by the BBA, IB, and B.Com students.
Farewell Function for Third Year Students
ASM Group of Institutes had the privilege of hosting a vibrant and exciting promotional event for the upcoming Marathi film Gulkand on 28th April 2025. The atmosphere at ASM’s IPS was filled with enthusiasm as students and faculty eagerly welcomed the film’s dynamic star cast and producers. The event was part of a promotional tour ahead of the film’s release and offered an interactive and engaging platform for students to connect with leading figures from the Marathi film industry.
The New Faculty Induction Programme at ASM-CSIT was organized to ensure smooth integration of newly appointed faculty into the academic community. The event began with an introduction to the ASM Group of Institutes, the college’s vision and mission, various branches, and its new AICTE affiliation, presented by Asst. Prof. Prerna Shinde.
International Yoga Day
Pimpri Chinchwad Forest Department organized an activity called Ranjai Event to promote Save Nature. ASM’s College of Commerce, Science & Information TechnologyPimpri- 18 sent some student to perform Ram Walk under title of walk for Nature. The event successfully executed at Nigdi pradhikarn.
Tree Plantation
The One-Day Faculty Refreshment & Enjoyment Program is designed to offer our esteemed faculty a day of relaxation, fun, and rejuvenation. This program provides a perfect break from academic routines, fostering camaraderie and stress relief through engaging activities, games, and interactive sessions.
Guru Pournima Celebration
The Anti-Ragging Week was conducted from 12th to 18th August 2024 at ASM’s College of Commerce Science & Information Technology. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of ragging and promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Various activities were organized to engage students in meaningful discussions and creative expressions against ragging.
National Sports Day
An event on Personality Development and Personal Hygiene for Women’s Health was conducted to raise awareness about the importance of self-improvement and hygiene practices in enhancing overall well-being. The event featured expert talks, interactive sessions, and practical demonstrations to educate women on these crucial aspects.
Health Check-up
Every Year on the 5th of September, ASM’s College of Commerce, Science, and Information Technology, Pimpri – Pune, came together to celebrate Teachers’ Day, honouring there markable legacy of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the great educator, leader, and philosopher born on this special day. The event was marked by a heart-warming tribute to the teaching and non-teaching staff, who were felicitated for their tireless dedication and invaluable contributions to the institution.

The YIN Kala Mohotsav, organized by Sakal, was held on the 5th and 6th of October 2024 at PCET College, Akurdi. This grand intercollege competition provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in various artistic fields. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different colleges, making it a highly competitive and engaging fest.
Dasara – Khande Navami
The Defence Force League Intercollege Dance Competition was held in Pimpri, bringing together talented dancers from various colleges. The competition showcased energetic performances across different dance styles, with students displaying their passion and dedication to the art of dance. It serves as a platform to showcase the multifaceted talents, intelligence, and grace of individuals serving in various branches of the military, law enforcement, and related fields.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jayanti
ASM’s CSIT College marked the joyous occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights, with a vibrant celebration on October 26, 2024. The college community, comprising students, faculty, and esteemed dignitaries, came together to commemorate this auspicious festival. The festivities encompassed a rich tapestry of cultural performances and a lively Fun Fair, creating an atmosphere of unity and festive cheer.
Fresher’s Party
Sakal Young Inspirators Network (YIN) successfully organized the Student Elections for both Science and Commerce streams at ASM CSIT College. The elections were conducted through an interview-based selection process under the supervision of the Sakal Reporter and Editorial Department.
Women’s Financial Empowerment Program
This workshop on Zero Wastage Management with a focus on Plastic Ban aims to raise awareness about sustainable waste practices and the urgent need to eliminate single-use plastics. Participants will explore innovative strategies to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste effectively. Emphasis will be placed on community participation and policy support for environmental protection.
Annual Sports Activity
The much-anticipated Goonj Event 2025 was held at ASM’s CSIT College from 20th January 2025 to 25th January 2025. This week-long celebration brought together students and faculty in a dynamic fusion of sports, arts, cultural programs, and talent competitions, offering a vibrant platform to showcase their skills, creativity, and enthusiasm. With a diverse range of activities, Goonj 2025 fostered team spirit, artistic expression, and intellectual engagement.
76th Republic Day
Green Force and NSS ASM’s College of Commerce, Science, and Information Technology, Pimpri – Pune, organized “No Vehicle Day and Rally “on 29th January 2025, aims to motivate students for using Public Transport, Bicycles, Walking, Green Vehicle to reduce air pollution and climate change This rally event was took place from ASM’s CSIT College, campus to Nearby Pune Maha Metro Station “PCMC” for awareness among the public about the public transport and other green mean of transports.
Women’s Day
Holi, the festival of colours, symbolizes joy, unity, and the arrival of spring. It is one of the most vibrant and cherished festivals celebrated across India. To foster a spirit of togetherness, rejuvenation, and cultural bonding, ASM CSIT College organized a Holi Celebration exclusively for the college faculty on 13th March 2025 at the college campus.
FAREWELL PARTY
The Department of Computer Science at ASM’s College of Commerce, Science, and Information Technology organized a heartfelt Farewell Function for Third Year Students on Sunday, 20th April 2025 in the Main Auditorium. The event aimed to honor and appreciate the journey, contributions, and achievements of the graduating batch while creating lasting memories for students and faculty alike.
