Palkhi Sath Chal Event” – 20th June 2025
International Yoga Day, celebrated every year on 21st June, is a global initiative to promote the practice of yoga for holistic health and well-being. Recognizing the immense benefits of yoga in achieving physical, mental, and spiritual harmony.
International Yoga day (Bhaktiyog)
To inculcate the importance of trees, a tree plantation activity was organized by the NSS Department along with “Green Force” on 25th June 2025 at the premises of ASMCSIT College, Pimpri. The activity was conducted as per the guidelines of SPPU on the occasion of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” observed from 10th June 2024 to 30th June 2025.
Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Jayanti
ASM’s College of Science and Information Technology (CSIT) organized National Sports Day 2025–26 on 29th August 2025 from 9:30 a.m. onwards at the ASM’s CSIT Basketball Ground. The event aimed to encourage active participation in sports, promote physical well-being, and instill values such as teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and perseverance among students.
Ganapati Aagman
CSIT College organized a blood donation camp on 30th August 2025 in collaboration with Akshay Blood Centre Plus Blood Center, Hadapsar, Pune. The purpose of the camp was to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation and to contribute to the noble cause of saving lives.
Three Months Karate Training for Girl Students
Dasara, one of the most significant festivals in India, symbolizes the victory of good over evil. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across the country. In keeping with this tradition, ASM CSIT College organized a Dasara Celebration (Khandenavami) event on 1st October 2025 at the college library.
“Sports Organized by SPPU Pune University”
As per the directives of Savitribai Phule Pune University and the Hon’ble Governor’s Secretariat, a special programme was organized to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the song “Vande Mataram.” The objective of the programme was to promote patriotism, national unity, and cultural values among students.
Nadi Mahotsav 2025
ASM’s College of Commerce, Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Pimpri, Pune actively participated in Pune Pustak Mahotsav, a city-level literary initiative aimed at promoting a reading culture among students and educators.
On 20th June 2025, the “Palkhi Sath Chal Event” was successfully conducted from Pimpri Metro Station Chowk to Vallabh Nagar, Pune. The event was organized in collaboration with Sakal Papers Ltd., Pune.
International Yoga Day 2025
On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, ASM’s College of Commerce, Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Pimpri, Pune, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), successfully organized a spiritually uplifting event titled “Bhaktiyog – Yoga Through Devotion” on 21st June 2025.
Tree Plantation
ASM’s College of Commerce, Science, and Information Technology, Pimpri, Pune, organized a special event, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Jayanti on 26th JUNE 2025. The event aimed to pay tribute to Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, a visionary leader who played a pivotal role in the social, cultural and
educational reforms in Maharashtra.
National Sports day
Blood Donation Camp
The Student Welfare Department and Sports Department of our college jointly organized a Quarterly Karate Training Camp for girl students in 2025. The camp was conducted from 26th September 2025 to 26th December 2025 on the college premises.
Dasara – Khandenavami
ASM’s College of Commerce, Science and Information Technology (CSIT) actively encourages students to participate in sports and physical activities as an integral part of holistic education. During the academic year, students of the college enthusiastically participated in various intercollegiate sports tournaments organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
Vande Mataram Group Singing
ASM’s College of Commerce, Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Pimpri, Pune actively participated in Nadi Mahotsav 2025, an environmental awareness and river conservation initiative organized by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on 30th November 2025.
